Shamanic and Elemental Reiki:
Shamanic and Elemental Reiki use the same gentle touch as typical reiki which helps me connect with your body's most rejuvenating intelligent energies to heal itself. But these sessions also offer the added benefit of offering animal totems or other symbols that I work with in your session. These may be elements like earth, air, fire and water that I use to rebalance your energies. This is a wonderful choice for folks who may have found more traditional talk type therapies of limited value in the past. This calming technique will help you become more aware of your body's brilliant and unique healing capabilities. Sometimes these sessions can work well as part of a more traditional counseling approach. This also can be a wonderful option as a stand alone treatment. As part of this service I often receive messages inspired from your soul's path, affirmations, for you to use. Or postures and/or mantras that would benefit you on your unique healing journey as well. Somatic work may be included as a part of this session.

Somatic work - sometimes called mind body awareness - helps you recognize where you may be holding outmoded feelings, memories and experiences in your body so you can release them with ease and assuredness to more easily welcome in new experiences and feelings. I do this by reading your Chakras or prana to determine the patterns of flow of the energy in your system as well as blocks that may inhibit that natural flow and the inner joy and vital life energy that accompanies it.
